Weakening of the immune system
What should be done to avoid sinusitis?
In order to avoid sinusitis, it is necessary to pay attention to some points. What can be done?
The humidity of the air in the environment must be adjusted well. Moisture media can cause sinusitis. For this purpose, a humid environment can be obtained by placing a drinker on the heating pads. Or water can be boiled and the environment can be humidified with steam.
It is necessary not to breathe cold air and protect the head, nose and mouth in cold weather.
Nasal canals can be opened by taking a shower.
A warm and moist towel can be placed on the face to soften the sinuses.
Take plenty of fluids. Consumption of fluid dilutes the mucus layer, so that the sinuses are better ventilated.
Care should be taken to clean the nose. The nose should be cleaned with water at regular intervals.
Hair should not be washed with cold water and should be thoroughly dried after showering in cold weather.
Avoid dusty and smoky environments.
Hair should not be left wet.
Do not expose to wind.
Is Surgery Necessary for the Treatment of Sinusitis?
After the diagnosis of sinusitis, the underlying cause of sinusitis should be investigated. Acute sinusitis can be treated without surgery. If the cause of sinusitis is the curvature of the nasal bone, the distortion of the nose shape or the stenosis of the nasal canals, surgery is performed to eliminate these conditions. The shape of the patient’s nose and curvature of the nasal bone are corrected with surgery. Thus, the nasal canals expand, breathing is more healthy and treatment of sinusitis is made.
